Injectable Fillers: Which One Should I Choose?

Quite often, I have people come to my practices in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene looking for facial plastic surgery, only to realize that they can achieve the results they are looking for with a non-surgical option. For instance, injectable fillers such as RADIESSE®, Restylane®, and Perlane®, all can help women and men achieve a more youthful appearance without the need for cosmetic surgery.
With so many options to choose from, how does one know which filler is the appropriate choice for them? First, it is best to understand the difference between the fillers, and what each one is designed to correct.
RADIESSE Volumizing Filler- RADIESSE works to replenish volume and restore collagen by acting as a scaffold under the skin. Over time, the filler helps your skin rebuild collagen, and results can last up to a year or more.
Restylane- This filler is made up of hyaluronic acid. This gel binds itself to water molecules and helps replenish volume in the skin.
Perlane- Perlane is used to correct moderate to severe lines and wrinkles. It is meant for deeper injection than its sister-product, Restylane.
While each filler is different, they all provide many benefits to help delay signs of aging. The best way to find out if a filler is right for you is to talk with a specialist.
