What To Expect
In general, laser skin rejuvenation treatments are quick, convenient, and well-tolerated. However, combining your treatment with more complex procedures can impact your recovery and downtime.
- SmartSkin CO2: SmartSkin CO2 treatments generally require a few more days of downtime than other laser rejuvenation therapies. Following treatment, it’s important that you carefully adhere to your post-op instructions, avoid sun exposure, and allow redness to subside gradually.
- PicoWay: After a more gentle PicoWay treatment, many patients experience only mild redness or swelling with minimal downtime.
- Laser Genesis: Most patients observe an immediate glow but achieve full results after 3 to 4 weeks. Recovery is minimal, and you can immediately resume normal activities.
